All facility instruments are scheduled through the University FBS system. New users can use the FBS calendar link to find .pdf quick guides for many commonly asked questions, such as: how do I make a reservation; how does my PI add me as a lab member; or how does my PI grant account access for billing?
All new users must have their PI complete the necessary steps to add them as a lab member and grant “worktag”/account access. These MUST be completed prior to scheduling. Flow Facility staff cannot complete these steps. Flow Facility staff does not schedule user appointments.
Reservations for cell sorting can be made up to 30 days in advance and must be requested at least 48 hours prior for approval. Reservations for analysis can also be made up to 30 days in advance but require a minimum of 24 hours’ notice to be scheduled.
Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled time will incur a 50% fee. All no-shows will be charged the full reservation amount.
Use of equipment outside of staff working hours requires prior staff approval and is made through our Google calendar.
